Did you know that even the IBC farms, which are now in ruins, once had a time when money could be copied from DEX? @co_cobling probably knows well.
I can't express how glad I am to see the renewed interest in DEX after a long time in the crypto space dominated by AI and ZK.

Yapping about my experience with Sui and DEX
A long time ago, I experienced DEX on Sui when it was just a few hundred won. Back then, there was no Cetus, and the now-popular @MMTFinance didn't exist either.
The fast block times and transfers without approvals definitely provided a thrilling experience compared to my first love, Ethereum. In terms of UX, I can say it's far superior to Solana.
However, the most important aspects of a DEX are "liquidity" and "the size of the ecosystem." Most of the newly launched tokens and stablecoins are EVM-based, and there aren't many tokens to trade in the Sui ecosystem.
Ultimately, my DEX experience on Sui lost its flavor after the grand event that poured in resources ended. There was nothing to trade.
For DeFi to revive, liquidity is the first and foremost priority, and liquidity is the second as well.
No matter how well momentum is created, if the size of the Sui ecosystem doesn't support it, the excitement after the TGE will eventually cool down.
Like the meme coin meta of Solana, Sui also needs something new to accompany liquidity beyond DeFi.
